Summary
The Health Programs Manager is accountable for Program Delivery of a limited number of programs and ad hoc projects. Program Evaluation and Quality Assurance for all Health Programs. Development and Implementation of Training Plans for Shibogama Health Employees and Community Based Workers. Administers the compilation of reports that will assist the Director with service planning, project updates, performance indicators, budgetary analysis and accountability to communities and funders. Research into best practices for the development of Proposals and Program Delivery options. The Health Programs Manager is Accountable to the Health Director.
Details
Responsible for the oversight of program delivery for the Diabetes Strategy, Patient Navigator, Health Transformation, and unique projects that may be curbed in duration or subject matter.
Supervision of Employees responsible for Service Delivery and/or administering Contracted services.This includes but is not limited to Employee Performance Evaluations, Work Planning, Leave and Attendance and Financial Accountability.Regular review of Service Delivery.
Establishing and maintaining relationships with Co-workers and Partners.
Research and analysis to support the development and submission of funding proposals.
Ensure that Program and Service Delivery methods, techniques and practices are meeting standards set by the Organization, Professional Licensing Groups, Communities and Partners.
Use of various Evaluation options to determine Program Effectiveness and to meet the needs of Clients.
Determine Professional Development and Training Needs Assessments. Develop Training Plans for Employees and Community Based Workers that will provide ongoing learning and motivation.
Promote employee and community-based professional development initiatives.
Actively participate in learning opportunities.
