Youth Well-Being Team

  • A mental wellness program that provides support to Shibogama youth while they are awat from their home communities attending Sioux North and Pelican Falls First Nation high school, as well as youth receiving specialized services/treatment while in Sioux Lookout.
  • Services include counselling, expressive arts therapy, land-based and cultural activities and referrals for specialized services.
  • The program also offers a variety of youth activities at the "Shib Crib" on Front Street in Sioux Lookout as a comforatble and safe environment where youth can claim the space as their own to socialize with their friends, while participate in postive lifestyle programming.
